A little about myself...
πβοΈ Kia ora from sunny Nelson, my wonderful hometown. I am a highly experienced teacher, having taught I0–13-year-old students in the Nelson area for 33 years. β
At the beginning of 2024, I established my private tutoring business, and I've loved working one-on-one with students ever since. Seeing students accelerate their progress and confidence has been enormously rewarding. There’s nothing better than seeing a student sparkle and thrive as their self-belief begins to kick in.
I'm also a published educational author (maths x6, spelling x2, punctuation, creative writing, and topic research). I enjoy writing books that help teachers, students, and whΔnau feel supported with their teaching and learning.
Animals have always been a big part of my life. I currently have three friendly goats, four quirky axolotls, and an adorable dog named Feebee.

Running is another one of my interests. I enjoy exploring local scenic trails, and I especially love being part of Nelson’s weekly 5 km Parkrun – as a runner and volunteer.
